August 2019
Breakdown featured on Radio 4 all last week – presenting the testimony of a cross section of those giving evidence at the enquiry into the unrest in NI 50 years ago, from which emerged ‘The Troubles’. All five eps are currently available on the iplayer…
Hoping to shoot the short film COYOTE in early September, inspired by the poem Gallaher’s Coyote. More to follow…
Update Mar 19
Too long! Anyway, Series 5 Line of Duty imminent. Reprising DCI Moffatt. Vanity Fair – in the interim – (for Mammoth Screen for ITV/Amazon), tx’d last autumn. Myself and Monica Dolan played the O’Dowds. Writing-wise… She & I (with Fine Point Films) and Born Again (Wee Buns) still trucking on. Grimes & McKee on board as co-writers on the latter. Onward and… at least sideways!
New Irish rep…
Delighted to have signed up with Nolan Muldoon (Josh Muldoon) in Dublin…

2017 kick-off
Again apologies for sparcity of posts!
Wrapped up 2016 with an outing on Line Of Duty 4… and, thanks to Adam, my agent at RKA, about to leave for Birmingham for work on… a mystery project!
Writing-wise, development continues apace on Born Again (a feature selected for participation in NI Screen’ New Writer Focus), and She & I (housed with Brendan Byrne at Fine Point Films). The Platform – out of sight but still very much on my mind – will see action again before the year’s out.
High-Rise
Check out the trails for this. Looking excellent and going public on March 18th. Pleasure to have been involved!
Pick of the Week
Enjoyed reading Clare Dwyer Hogg’s ‘Small Print’ for Radio 4’s Wish You Weren’t Here short story slot. It was actually a Pick Of The Week last week… Listen again at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05vhkbt
